From a young age, I was captivated by the world of children—their boundless curiosity, infectious laughter, and unfiltered joy. Growing up, I often found myself in the role of the caretaker, whether it was organizing games for my younger siblings or leading arts and crafts sessions at family gatherings. Each moment spent nurturing their creativity and imagination sparked a deep-seated desire within me to dedicate my life to teaching.
As I progressed through school, I began to understand the profound impact that educators can have on young minds. I vividly recall my own kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Annette, whose warm smile and encouraging words made every child feel special. She had an extraordinary ability to turn learning into an adventure, transforming the classroom into a vibrant world where we could explore, create, and discover. It was in her classroom that I first realized the power of a teacher’s influence—a realization that would shape my aspirations for years to come.
During my high school years, I volunteered at a local daycare center, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education in the lives of young children. I saw how a simple story could ignite their imaginations, how a song could bring them together, and how a kind word could build their confidence. Each day spent with those children reaffirmed my belief that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it’s about fostering a love for learning and helping children develop into compassionate, curious individuals.
As I pursued my degree in a different field other than education , I realised how much of a passion for teaching I had in me and I could not just let that go,so I decided to pursue it even thou I was already in another path.Am still on my teaching journey and I take everyday as it is,grateful for yet another chance.
