I have one of the best jobs in the world because I get to work with people who are energetic, creative, funny and insightful. They keep me inspired and young. And they happen to be 3 to 7 years of age. THEY ARE CHILDREN.
I got started with the basics in 2009, studying the Psychology of Early Childhood Development at Moscow State Pedagogical University. In addition to my pedagogic degree, I obtained the qualification of a teacher of English. My further experience relates to working at bilingual schools in accordance with the International Baccalaureate Standards. Willing to enhance my knowledge of the educational process, I have attended trainings for professional development. Among them are annual conferences “Reggio Inspired” and “Montessori Education for Social Change”, devoted to innovative Italian approaches to early childhood education.
To me, it’s beyond teaching. We are literally raising up a new generation. The generation of internationally-minded people who know the value of care, respect and trust. I am proud to be a part of this. I invest all my efforts in making lessons memorable and engaging. My philosophy is that teaching and learning should bring joy. The simple truth is that children don’t learn from people they don’t like. This is why a great many learning activities are available to my students, designed to meet diverse learning styles that they have.
I am an idealist. I expect every one of my students to wonder, to initiate questions. Imagine how powerful our world would be if we had kids who were not afraid to think critically, to take risks. I INSIST that they become the best that they can possibly be.
I am so grateful that you entrust your children to my care. THANK YOU, and see you at 5 GREEN!
